Relaxing, spotless rooms and excellent amenities. Sensational breakfast for the quality, and courteous staff. Central location in the conservatory which had lovely views over the garden. Also - not far from airport, the Lion Dior restaurant and the Brasserie. Main bar in the hotel.

At the hotel there is a fitness centre which can be used free of charge and the pub at the hotel serves delicious food.
To reach my room I had to walk through various corridors. The bathroom is very old-fashioned and there is no radiator.

We only stayed one night at Copthorne but that was only because we were going to Gatwick airport the next morning. The hotel is ideally placed for this being only ten minutes away. The staff were excellent & the hotel was great. We would definitely use it again.
The hotel was in need of some tlc. It is generally very well looked after but we did notice some rotten window frames when out in the garden. There was some tiles in our bathroom that had been replaced but not to the high standard of the rest of the hotel. Also, in the public toilets the sanitary bins were overflowing both days we were there.

Central location in Sussex is very nice, breakfast was fine! Cosy hotel.
The wooden details in the hotel had just been decorated with carboleum, so there was a pungent smell in the rooms.

It was ideal as a fly and drive package..comfortable room
T.V. could be updated..not wonderful for watching wimbledon!! Directions to car park at rear bit confusing after long journey..could car be put nearer..loads of spaces. Helped by a delightful young man..cleaning a Copthorne car.. Who went for our car and put cases in for us.
